Oh my god that ending. Full circle Barbra, as Katya would say. It was amazing. I loved it. Tragic and beautiful all at once. I devoured it in short time too. And honestly? A perfect length. Usually standalones like this I wish were longer, but this was succinct. Miriam and Cybil, well, their love shall continue, much as it has. Albeit differently.

I think Rosamund may be my favorite incarnation thus far. Cool, calm, collected, and determined. I don’t know what she has planned but I’m VERY interested to see how this ends.

Oof. So there never was the curse. Only the belief in the curse that fueled it. Fuck. Me. And it seems Miriam does, in her own cruelly twisted way love Cybil/Esther. But seeing Cybil take control of her life, what little life she has, is so powerful. And the yearning, ugh the yearning.

Is it love, though, what Miriam feels? Or merely obsession. I suppose both can be true. The world lies, indeed.

Oooo Cybil entrapped Miriam in a vision. Tea. Their dynamic is so very different compared to Esther and Miriam. With Cybil, there’s hatred and contempt. I love disparate dynamics from disparate souls.
