Romeo is… wow. Quite the poet. I mean, he’s twenty and Juliet is 14 and he literally just broke up with his girlfriend and Juliet is his rebound but… he is hot…. Juliet is a lot smarter than 90% of teens I know and for the time and written by a man is very well rounded. The monk says “young men’s love then lies not truly in their hearts but in their eyes” is so true of the portrayal of romance nowadays!

It really shocked me honestly. I was laughing so hard. It’s more of a comedy right now. Like “Do you bite your thumb at me?” or “and when I kill the men, I will CIVILLY chop the maids’ heads off.” 😂
Also, Romeo is “heart broken” about Rosaline and then at the ball proceeds to flirt with Juliet the second he sees her and kiss her EVEN THOUGH HE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND HAD BROKEN UP EARLIER THAT DAY.
