The story is interesting but I'm still slightly annoyed by the storytelling. Feels very stereotypical and overexplanatory at times. Kinda miffed that George turned out like that.

Yeah... anticlimactic and very much a YA ending. It's understandable there wasn't much closure or anything but it was still somewhat of a weak ending. At least the book was a very fast read.

Finally, some action. It was interesting yet somewhat anticlimactic? I don’t know what I expected. What was going to happen had been spelled out countless times. Regardless, Lord Luckenbill was yet again not unexpected. Although I wish there had been more. Chewing the optic nerve was a little edge-lordy.

Easy and interesting read so far, although I realised this has such a similar setting to Witchcraft for wayward girls. Well, whatever the characters are more interesting. The medical talk is a little pretentious and I'm aware this is all about identity but it's kind of boring at times. So repetitive. Edward/Daphne reveal I could see coming from a mile away.
