Ending felt a bit rushed/the prose or more so dialogue wasn’t as polished as the rest of the book.

Wow this book has so many interesting things going for it. A familial story of a disconnected mother and lost father. Addiction and depression. Struggle and power of being an artist. Love. Passage of time. War. Meaning of life. I think it tied together very well. Many beautiful lines that stood out.
