The situation is getting more and more grim. I have my doubts even more so now regarding the family’s chance of survival. One thing that isn’t clear is why don’t they move south and bring Mrs. Nebbit along? She possibly can’t be that old?

It’s endearing seeing how the protagonist is blissfully going through her experience of first love. I am still concerned, though, about the moon crashing into the Earth.

The premise is very interesting, but the characters and settings are bland. Going to continue reading as much as I can, but this is starting to become a little bit of a chore.
