I'm at about 55%0through this book and feel like I'm floating.
The author bounces around in the story, leaving significant gaps in information.
Rather disturbing.
The premise shows great promise , but the character development really sucks.

I've made it to 70%.
This book continues to baffle me.
I think the only reason I've continued to read on is because the story is different from several I've read most recently.
I have only begun to understand what some people are included in this story for.
It is interesting how a young woman comes from an unknown background, grows up in an orphanage and is shunned due to their belief that she is a witch.
Huh. Which she is.
She has no recollection of summoning her protector...?
He disappears on her constantly.
She gets into so much drama when left to her own devices.
She's training herself in magic even though he's insisted he will help her, but says she can do it on her own.
Somehow, he knows everything she does and he fails to help her even when she's in danger, BUT asks her her to tell him everything that happened.
I am still...reading?
Again... interesting.
