Philip does a great job in teleporting us back to the heyday of discovering video games with friends. There wasn’t Internet back then, so these moments in time are unique and special to each person. Also, there was a nice chapter in getting to know the live action actors from the book end cut scenes of the first game. Random workers in Tokyo, didn’t even get to know their impact till just a few years ago. Wow.
