And the second thing is like to say is she does grief so well in this book which is also an upgrade
The writing is evocative. At the river, I felt like I was at the river and it was dark with the jagged rocks like knives waiting to catch its prey. And when we switch back to her room, I felt the shift from what I was experiencing which was adrenaline to a quiet calm. See now that kind of writing I have respect for.

Oka observations so I don’t forget while writing a review
I think l have finally discovered what irks me with the writing. To put it simply, imagine you’re watching what she’s describing as a movie, right. It’s very plasticky. I love the premises but the scenes used to illustrate the emotions and events are quite cliche. Not that it’s bad, just one aspect she can improve on but its better than the other two
