This book makes me anger but in a good way, because it’s realistic of a lot of relationships. The husband is just so… ugh. He’s not a bad man, as the narrator says, his behavior is just so typical of a lot of men in marriages. Ignoring his wife’s struggles, dismissing her unhappiness as she caters to his, and considering her invisible labor and isolation as a vacation.
