I have a huge problem with how Freire depicts the Castro regime as a success of dialogical pedagogy. In my view, the Cuban Revolution was one of the prime examples of how vanguardism can prevent a society from moving beyond Marxist-Leninism in its pursuit of a revolutionary society.
