I kept seeing on the reviews of this book that it was like “struggling to reach the word count on an essay”, and ngl I’m only on page 78 of 300+ and she’s only killed one person and it was very quick, meanwhile the rest of the story is properly bulked out and I don’t necessarily care - I want the nitty gritty drama !! not the whole backstory :((
