I'm at the part where the Joad's are at the government camp, and I just want it to end here. The men get work. The women keep the camp thrumming, and the community of care and hard work thrives. And why can't our country model this? Oh yeah... the ugly greed of capitalism to squash down hardworking people. The super rich. Right. Silly me. *sigh
