girl who melts due to lust is such an iconique fairy tale format to me btw shoutout the butter girl fairy tale i learned about as a kid bc of the yolen&stemple mirror mirro collection

ok having that little bit to remind you where the last book ended just to go on to the other story stuff makes it even more like, yeah this series coukd have been one long book w minimal trimming

truly w both books so far its just 'ok lets get thru part one and get to vasya's big moment and it'll pick up' lol. such a great main character, use her more!

these books do multi perspective much better than spinning silver BUT i want so much more vasya!!! and teh forst demon but the main character is so good i want more time w her!!!!!!! also i dont reeeeaaaalllly care about political intrigue leading to a real 1300s war but its w/e still great
