that’s so cute that malakai knows when she’s stressed or overthinking. like i relate to kiki hella i need a man like that for real

awwww i love how they opened up to each other about things that they don’t tell ppl! and how malakai apologized and she started calling him kai and how he likes it (but isn’t saying it). but damn this was hella sweet. opening up about everything getting comfy with each other after a week of knowing each other. my fav chapter so far

i love kiki’s personality downnnn! and love how she has a trusted advisor giving her more opportunities and believes in her deeply

i love how the author is basically speaking in slang that we use today but also eloquently and relating it to pop culture like meg thee stallion and beyonce like whatttt queen! and i love how she is roaming life into women by saying we don’t chase, we choose. like period i know that’s right! also i love how no one is poor or uneducated in this book (so far). it’s very refreshing to see this in a book.

haha i’m liking kiki’s personality, she is feisty and doesn’t give a fuck about the lightskin being attractive to everyone cuz he was not doing it for her!
