Chapter 18: The Martyrdom of the Eastern Territories
Hermann Grabe told this story at the Nuremberg trials. Grabe said, "At about 10 P.M. on July 13, the Ukrainian Militia supported by S.S. encircled the Rovno Ghetto...Throughout the night these people, beaten and trapped...women carrying dead children in their arms, children dragging their dead parents as far as the trains by the arms and legs..." (249). I'm gutted
