Something about the characters makes them so entertaining to listen to. There are even funny moments which is rare for Cormac McCarthy's work.
I'm very much enjoying this.

Atmospheric and well crafted language, just like all of his work I've encountered so far. Plot is a slow burner as always it appears, but McCarthy has never needed plot as an excuse to write.
