The definition of vulnerability that emerged from the research is simple: vulnerability is the emotion we experience when we feel uncertain, at risk, and emotionally exposed. In these moments, we have two choices: to self protect an armor up, or recognize what we’re feeling, acknowledge that the emotion is tough to navigate, and choose courage anyway.
