I don’t usually read YA thrillers, but the premise of this one really fascinated me. A young girls is excluded from a camp trip hosted by her shady friends. The whole group of friends up dead. I’m excited to see what this book has to offer.

Slow burn but I can feel the pages starting to heat up in my hands. I enjoy the ember like build up. Introducing the characters and creating a scene was a great introduction to this thriller. If the author wants us to hate Emmas’s girl group then, she succeeded so far. Emma with her awkwardness is relatable. I think me and her could have friends. Hopefully I don’t regret saying that.
