Hobb is such an amazing writer, which is why it's so jarring when something like this happens or the few parts where, imo, you can really feel her hand pushing things to go a certain way 😭
true 😔 unfortunately being a great author and enjoying stories where young girls are getting some level of groomed can both be true at the same time I guess
