I actually can’t get over how bad this narrator is, I get it’s a large cast of characters to voice but some of these voices/accents are TERRIBLE. The southern accent for the unceasing emperor is particularly disturbing to the ears.

Truly only invested in Ead’s storyline

I am bewildered by the popularity of this book, something crazy must happen at the end

There are SO many characters and SO many storylines, I’m ready for some of them to start converging

I think I’ve determined that religious conflict driven plots just aren’t my fav, hoping this develops to more though
