While the book was written in 2021 with good intention to help us layman project what would happen in 2041 when AI will become part of life, reading it now in 2026, the stories are no longer as flabbergasted as when I first watched Black Mirror. The kind of things AI in 2026 can do almost surpassed what the co-authors could have imagined, which I’m not sure is celebratory or worrying. I’ll still finish it.
