I have just finished the preface. And bell hooks so intelligent. She carries such a presence about her even in her writing. Her willingness to open about the feelings towards her own father and citing another author Barbara Deming in the passages relating to the want of death of these men. It is imperative as a man to challenge the patriarchy. I look forward to learning more from this book!
