So far, this book is trying my patience. The entire logic of the plot is so flimsy, it can be knocked down with a breath in the wrong direction. Not to mention, the FMC is the exact flavor of “I’m not like other girls” that I thought we were supposed to leave in the 2010s. If I wasn’t reading this for a book club, I’d have DNF’d after chapter 3.

It’s getting better. When you forget about how the actual plot doesn’t really make sense, the chemistry between the main characters is pretty cute.
