There are some things about this book I like and others I'm not a huge fan of. I do like that Kadeesha was determined to be her own person the entire time and that she always took action to do it. The thing I don't fully get is the relationship dynamics, outside of the Nkita and the Cadre none of the actions read as caring about anyone, even the dynamic with Yashira.
