I am at a loss of word what a beautiful gut wrenching story that was

Oh god this is not a fun little turn of events but yea no 100% on Patroclus’s side like he is saving a woman from being raped as he should and I am like so mad at Achilles but like Patroclus needs to die so Achilles can be heartbroken and understand what he’s done

“could not bear it. There was only one thing I could think of. I turned to Achilles and seized the front of his tunic. I kissed him. When I let go again, she was staring at us. Staring and staring. I gestured to her bonds and back to the knife. “All right?” She hesitated a moment. Then slowly offered her hands.”

Something about this is so beautiful

So im very much assuming Patroclus dies and I’m really hoping like the people there fighting like capture him and hold him captive and kill him and for revenge Achilles like kills everyone and ends the war and live in forever and I mean obviously we know Patroclus is dying because he’s so worried about Achilles dying so obviously the plot twist is that Patroclus dies and I’m hoping the death is well written

Ohhh so yea no nevermind disregard he very much will not be sleeping with her seeings how umm she’s dead I guess she was the sacrifice who would have thought

I cannot wait until Patroclus dies cause like this will be the SECOND woman Achilles sleeps with and I get it it’s his duty he’s a prince but come onnnnnnnn

“And what of this?” His hand lingered over my hips, drew down the line
of my thigh. “Have I spoken of it?”

“And this? Surely, I would not have forgotten this.” His cat’s smile. “Tell
me I did not.”

Achilles was looking at me. “Your hair never quite lies flat here.” He
touched my head, just behind my ear. “I don’t think I’ve ever told you how
I like it.”
My scalp prickled where his fingers had been. “You haven’t,” I said.
“I should have.” His hand drifted down to the vee at the base of my
throat, drew softly across the pulse. “What about this?

“Well, why should I kill him? He’s done nothing to me”

This is what I like to call foreshadowing I think hector is going to kill Patroclus

I was wondering how the book was going to like move along and I was really wondering when Patroclus and Achilles were going to go to war
