I read somewhere that Christianity is the most Divine form of Escapism and this chapter on Healing just solidified that. Simmons says (i am paraphrasing) "in praying for healing one must also pray for them to come to Jesus, as he may take them away to Heaven as a form of healing." -- this book takes such important topics of Christianity and Faith and waters them down to nothing.

I dont think JoAnne has actually read the Bible all the way through. I say this because there is a page for almost every book of the Bible where she says "Come Back to the book of ____" but the lesson is almost identical for every single one lol.

The format is Scripture - small paragraph - Prayer. It gives very little actual advice on how to stop overthinking. The point is to lean on God , thats it .

Reading this through gritted teeth - but being lead to do so.
