I'm still not done, but I noticed something brilliant this book is doing, and that's that in the first half when it was talking about traditional analog film editing, the prose was so poetic and, funnily enough, very analogical, and when it transitioned to talk about digital film editing in the second half, all oof a sudden it felt like I started reading a textbook.
