Well, something’s finally happening. While the book seems charming enough to hold my interest, slice-of-life Cozy Romances definitely aren’t for me. This is the first (and last) of its genre that I’ll ever read by choice again. I mean, I don’t even like slice-of-life anime. Excited to push through this to get it over with!

Aha! I know what this reminds me of now. The vibe reminds me of Patricia C. Wrede’s “Dealing With Dragons,” not because of plots or anything like that; the two books are completely different in that respect. However, they share the same magical humor and domesticity vibes.

Guys…I don’t think Cozy Fantasy is for me. This book is so well-written, so it has nothing to do with work quality; it’s just that the genre and I are not on the same energy level or wavelength. I will finish this book, but I know what is and isn’t for me.

I don't think Cozy Fantasy (as a genre) is for me, but this book is objectively well-written and is enjoyable. I'll definitely finish and keep it, for when I want something that's engaging with a real plot, but won't get me all riled up (haha), like when I'm flying somewhere.

Easy to follow along so far. The cozy vibe reminds me of Patricia C. Wrede’s “Dealing With Dragons” in tone. You know, the kind of fantasy that feels very…domestic? Not sure where I stand on this book yet, but it’s only 368 pages long.
