Two Envelopes And A Phone
is starting
Okay, this just arrived and is too big a temptation as compared to what I thought would be my next two books. This is another “Neglected but Worthwhile” Science Fiction novel, off some list I found a while ago, while Googling A Sweet, Sweet Summer by Jane Gaskell. And that list has led to some cool stuff, for sure. Hopefully, that trend continues!

I’d love to see that list"neglected books.com; The Neglected Books Page…I just “re-googled” Neglected SF Sweet Sweet Summer and the search seemed to take me right back to it. I actually didn’t Bookmark it or save it, originally - I just added all the books I hadn’t read to my TBR. They do seem mostly from the 1970s, or early 1960s - women authors well-represented. I was amused to see Colonel Mint on the list - that and my reaction to the Gaskell novel sold me on the list…that and I’m sucker for so many books I had not heard of. Quake, and Motorman have since been read by me - it’s a fun group of weird and forgotten books!
Oh, The Fork River Space Project was the most recent pick I read off the list. Also weird and worthwhile.
