Okay, the pacing is too slow narratively. It’s the switching between POVs. I can’t see how she’d structure it any other way while still keeping her two main characters, but still. This is definitely one star for pacing but five stars for characters because I’m terribly invested. I feel my heart is about to be broken, and I don’t want it to happen. UGHUHU.

I feel like this is one big story just separated into many books. No plot, just vibes. I’m here for it, but the pacing is brutally slow. I wish our MMC would get reprieve from his painful pining after the FMC. 😭
