Already cried 27 pages in. First thoughts about the authors writing: the 3rd person narrative immediately reminds me of little me reading my books. He describes scenes in such simple but meaningful ways. I don’t think i’ve seen an author really emphasize onomatopoeia in a way that Mitch Albom does. I felt so emotional reading the book so far, and the scene looking back at 5 y/o Eddie makes me feel so nostalgic.
