I am inhaling the words off these pages. Oh my goodness, I love reading so much. Poor Fermin, he’s been through so much :(( Wow, I love David Martin’s character, he is so interesting. The scene where he realized that Isabella died :(( So heartbreaking, I genuinely had to calm down. Who is Valls? What happened to David? Also, how the hell did Salgado survive???!!

I love the connection of The Count of Monte Cristo, I feel like a huge nerd because I remember the exact scene that this book is referring to. I am confused. So Fermin’s time in prison with David Martin is actually not the Fermin we know about? It’s a different guy? Then how does Fermin, Daniel’s friend, know all of this about the actual Fermin? Im not sure but I am loving it!! This prison is hell, literally.

Wow already with the mystery!! I love Fermin and Daniel’s friendship, its so silly and pure. Nothing better happen to Fermin, IM SO SERIOUS. I didn’t realize how short the book is, I think it is less than 300 pages. Either way, if it is mostly about Fermin I am not complaining! I am sure though that it will talk about his time during the war :( I am not ready for that
