It’s been really insightful so far. Learning from an entrepreneur called Simon Squibb who has gained a massive following on social media, asking everyday people a simple question, “What’s Your Dream”. This is a question that even I wasn’t thinking about to the fullest extent for the past couple of years. This is book is inspirational and I can’t wait to read the rest of it.

Finished the chapter about purpose where the last component of purpose, other than it giving you energy, lend you focus, banish bad habits and equipping yourself belief, is turning wants into needs. Necessity is more powerful than wanting something because wanting is empty and it is not as powerful in terms of a motivating force of nature.

I just had the longest stint of reading the book. We covered why a dream matters and also why purpose matters. In this I learnt that a dream is what starts the journey, it cannot be easily destroyed and is the consciousness to a person’s actions. Purpose on the other hand is the fuel that drives the dream. The beating heart of your actions that galvanises people around you to join your dream.
