Okay it picked up at the end of this section but I still cannot forgive it for being incorrect about basic lighthouse anatomy

The living quarters are not on the top floor of the lighthouse???? That would be a horrible design choice imagine getting all that furniture up there. Also if the 1830s are ancient now... anyway I'm going to be stupidly pedantic about the lighthouse stuff in this book because I can't help myself.
