“Michael had once read to her how God had cast a man and woman out of Paradise. Yet, for all of their human faults and failures, God had shown them the way back in.” He is such a merciful father🥹

Ahhhh I never thought to compare her to Sarah from the Bible and the promise of a child that God made to her.

The one thing I enjoyed in the movie was Sarah’s line, “My real name is Sarah, and I’ve never told anyone that, until now. Because it was the only thing that I had, that no one could take from me.” That’s one thing that the movie did better.

“She knew then that she had doubted he would forgive her again, but he already had. She could live with him forever and not know his depths. She thoughts she had been saved by his love for her, and in part she had been. It had cleansed her, never casting blame.” I strive to have a heart that mirrors Jesus so closely like Michael’s.

“She peeled away the layers of pride one by one until she was humbled by her own nakedness. Weeping, Angel sank to her knees. Hot tears fell on his boots. She wiped them away with her hair. She bent over, heartbroken, and put her hands on his feet. He took hold of her. Michael took off his shirt and put it around her shoulders. His eyes were wet like hers, but filled with light.” SUCH A POWERFUL MOMENT.

“If only things had been different. She wanted so desperately to be clean for him, to be new.” Love you are a new creation in God😕

“She wanted to discard the horrible memories of her childhood and the guilt she had taken on herself for things she had been powerless to stop.” YESSSSSS. She finally understands that it was not her fault.
