It’s a faster paced and funnier PHM but I had an investment in the storyline and the dire circumstances of PHM. I can’t quite put my finger on the purpose of this book—fun sure, scientific af yes, but it’s giving like an introspective novel about identity?? Weirdly I’m still interested in it but to quote beetlejuice sometimes it reads like stereo instructions

Incredibly inventive. Each page is so unexpected. Hate the politics 😭 it’s meant to parody the current sh*t storm I’m sure but it’s generally too close to reality. Classic that with 100 years of progress there’s not more progress and progressive thinking it’s just theocracy and war
