Tried to read this twice and couldn't get through it. It's written like it's meant to be humerous but it unfortunately falls flat for me. Every piece of dialogue is riddled with what are probably meant to be witty rejoiners and one-liners but, due to the genre, they end up coming across as overly casual and borderline rude. It just isn't for me.
