If I had a nickel for every time I've read a book where a character creates a fake illness to shut down a brothel, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Looking at you, crooked kingdom 👀

WAIT. Has she just met some of her siblings??? Like, let's see: they're farmers, their sibling count so far is 8 (and that may not be all!), and she told them about the specific things she wanted to tell her brothers and sisters in the first book. It seems too coincidental 👀
