I feel that Chloe has improved a lot in terms of describing the scene/characters compared to her previous books. But, this book has too many unnecessary description to the point that I skip so many paragraphs yet can still understand the plot. Also almost 400 pages in and I’m still not in the action-packed scene of the book. It drags too much; some scenes can be cut and I would still have the same understanding.
