Ok he is starting to get to a point and I can see now (at least partially) what he was trying to do with The Stranger
I can appreciate it more now although I feel like presenting philosophy as fiction kinda defies the purposes if it requires one to actually read the philosophical works too ..
I may be too harsh though, writing isn’t so easy

I can appreciate (at least some of) his views but it’s really not necessary to say it in such a convoluted way .. I can’t take works like this very seriously as philosophy and as art I just don’t like the style 🤷🏼♀️

I understand that many French philosophers used to write philosophy in a very literary and flowery way and I already don’t agree with that from an academic point of view but I’m reading this for leisure anyway, still it’s not working for me. It’s tiring and unnecessary and I don’t like the writing much or the way he expresses things. Hope I’ll be able to power through and maybe even learn something ..
