While I’ve had some issues with author choices, this book is admittedly a nice and fast paced read. A lot going on. Shorter chapters. Much easier to absorb. High stakes. Lots of action and various battles happening at once, which is exciting. Hopefully this Sanderlanche is just as worthwhile as all those that have gone before!

Sanderson’s choice to pander to social agendas all of the sudden by introducing a gay couple and a transgender character is disappointing. As well as his choice to suddenly include real-world profanity after four books of clean reading….
