If you don't mind me asking, John, what got you interested in this book? I know this author personally and am curious about how widely he is known.

We are reading as part of the Men’s group at church. A discussion on the topic. How do you know the author personally?

He attended and preached/taught at my old church for years, including the time of his two year suspension (he didn't preach or teach during that time). After he published his race realism articles, he attended two more services than left of his own accord.

I have personally come under his ire as I came out strongly opposed to his racism. Since that time (June 2024), Spangler has gone masked off and posts pro-Nazi tweets and he sides with Corey Mahler who believes Hitler was God's faithful servant.

I hope you understand, I was concerned when I saw you post his book. I would wish no one would buy it, but hopefully your church will have some robust criticisms of it, and help each of you better stand against it.
