Well, it is getting weirder. But why has there now been almost 200 pages with almost no scenes of the main character and instead some weird prototype of Needful Things & Under The Dome?
These last 100 pages had some alright scenes, but I really can't give it much more. But, I'm halfway through it

So far, very uneven. The character work is good (I mean, it's King) but I'm having a very hard time trying to grasp what King was going for here. I so far just see a simile for alcoholism and drug addiction (which is why this book exists) but, well, there are very few scenes of horror. I do like the slow descent into madness in the first 75 pages of this book however.

I had a moment to spare and started to read this chonker. So far, it's an intriguing mystery. I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about this book so it'll be fun to see what I'll think about it. But, I'll get a ton of reading done here!
