I like it so far! I like how the author writes as if he isn’t a human himself. I like how broadly he speaks as if humans are just a ting speck of dust on our planet (which is true). Even the way he describes political things he’ll do it in a way that is very far removed. I am very excited about this book, I love science + history with a focus on chemistry books!!!

learning about a popular theory of life forming at geothermal vents and not because it was by chance, but a necessity thermodynamically. also how our cells work mechanically like how we have turbines, crankshafts, etc. equivalents in cells. also energy across membrane of mitochondria is the same as lightning bolt!
