Aarrgh! If this were not for book club, I'd abort right now, a quarter way through. Sooki and her mother must be the most spoiled, whiny drama queens in southern literature. And Sooki is a doormat. I'm going so crazy here! Reviewers say the last section of the book is good, so I await better reading ahead!
