The final and last chapter that we have left is “The Return of Ulysses,” which is a lot funnier to me now that I’m more familiar with The Odyssey. Toad as Odysseus is just hilarious!

I was just telling John last week that I want to read this this year. It would be a first read through for me.

I’ve enjoyed reading it out loud more than I enjoyed reading it to myself as a teenager. But it’s not a plot driven story. More of a leisurely paddle down the River.
