Omg I low key loved the repetition of when Gloria pov and how she kept hooping that Frankie would change, I think it was a great way to portray women that are in abusive relationships and even though they repeatedly get assaulted it’s the repeated hope of change that keeps them there especially for their children

I feel like the metaphor of dancing with death is just overused. Not to mention how predictable the book has become At this point. As soon as Orion was introduced with having a heart defect I knew for a fact that Valentino was going to die by giving his heart to Orion. Like that was way too obvious! Also why is the author trying so hard to speak in teenage slang ish. I just don’t get it. It sounds forced

They’ve just met but Orion’s story is quite sad and I feel sympathetic towards him and poor Valentino is a relatable character of being outcasted by his parents as they don’t except him for who he is
