I enjoy seeing Kate worry and struggle the only issue is that I don’t like how she’s like fantasizing about meeting Aron he’s not really my favorite character far from it to be honest but I don’t think he could handle meeting his mother

I wanted to stop before I start the last 100 pages just because I’m not prepared I don’t really want it to end it’s such a good book and honestly I feel like I haven’t had enough time with the newer characters like cal and abra I don’t really like Aron tbh he seems like he believes he’s better than everyone cal seems more human to me

Cal is my new favorite character in this book he has for the most part overcome his evil he’s separated the idea of him being like his parents and his own decisions and he’s also gone into business with will Hamilton which I thought was amazing

So far I’m really enjoying how cal is kind of rebelling and not becoming like his predecessors I loved the conversation he had with Lee about how everyone has that side in them and that you can’t blame your parents or other things on you doing those things because at the end of the day your you and you chose that

I’m kinda sad that every time something goes good or remotely happy it gets bad I had a feeling Dessie would die and she did like bro why that makes me feel sad

I like the arch going on between Dessie and tom it seems they have eachother now to comfort them since they are missing there father

So far I find the book to be amazing it’s really good the story is quite interesting i didn’t like that Samuel died of course but that’s life as he says and I really like how the book talks about how we can choose to be evil or not thou mayest as they say I hope that prayer that cal said is truly answered I hope he doesn’t turn out like his forefathers
