In an attempt to get my 11-year-old daughter more into reading, we started a mother daughter book club. Our plan is to read books that were turned into movies or tv shows. Once we complete the book, we will have a snack (something that is mentioned in the book or just something that sounds good) and watch the Movie or Show. We are going to talk about the book 1 a week as well while reading.
