~Autistic people have diminished sense of agency,they feel less in control of ourselves&our bodies than neurotypical people do.A lifetime of being corrected for incompetence,immaturity, sensitivity,emotional outbursts&tantrums affects our self concept&makes it hard to develop basic skills for self advocacy&assertiveness.Self stigma usually starts by the traits our caregivers hated~

~Women don’t have milder autism due2their biology;Marginalized people have their autism ignored because of their peripheral status within society.When not given resources or access 2 self knowledge&THEN told that their stigmatized traits are just signs of disruptive,oversensitive or annoying;they have no choice but to develop a neurotypical facade(that feels deeply inauthentic&exhausting)~
